Viking 1 and Viking 2, a couple fairly early United States space probes were launched in missions to Mars in 1976. On August 20th, 1975 Viking 1 was launched, and its successor was launched that September.

The missions were notable for taking photographs of Mars from an orbit around the planet, and they studied it from the surface. The first probe touched down on Mars’ surface on July 20th, 1976. A couple months later the second one did the same thing. The stated purpose of the missions were to search for evidence of life on the planet, to take high-resolution photographs of the surface of Mars, and to learn about the planet’s composition and structure, the atmosphere’s content and more.

Viking 1 quickly spotted what was later identified to be the likeness of a human face. What appears to be a gigantic head which measures almost two miles was visible as far back as then. The region is known as Cydonia, and a pyramid structure was also identified not far from the face.

NASA is not to be trusted. Aside from the fact that its founders were occultists, multiple insiders who have been employed by the agency report that they are certainly not always honest. For example, a retired United States Army Command Sergeant Major named Bob Dean gave a lecture on these strange footage and videos. He said:

“Ladies and gentlemen, my government, NASA, which many of us in the United States say stands for Never A Straight Answer, proceeded to erase 40 rolls of film of the Apollo Program — the flight to the Moon, the flight around the Moon, the landings on the Moon, the walking guys here and there. They erased, for Christ’s sake, 40 rolls of film of those events. Now we’re talking about several thousand individual frames that were taken that the so-called authorities determined that you did not have a right to see. Oh, they were ‘disruptive,’ ‘socially unacceptable,’ ‘politically unacceptable.’ I’ve become furious. I’m a retired Command Sergeant Major. I was never famous for having a lot of patience.”

In 1976, this original photo of the face on Mars was taken by Viking. While this photo officially released by NASA is very small, look close and you’ll be able to see a pyramid in close proximity to the face-like structure.

However, in the photos from more recent years in which NASA claims “improved instruments” managed to capture, the face is more faded. Why is that? In their original description of the face on Mars, NASA described it as “huge rock formation . . . which resembles a human head . . . formed by shadows giving the illusion of eyes, nose and mouth.” The authors reasoned it would be a good way to “engage the public and attract attention to Mars.”

A few insiders with extensive credible backgrounds are suggesting that NASA lied about these images and the data they collected, and that they are known to doctor images and photos.

Dr. John Brandenburg worked on nuclear fusion, space plasma technologies, advanced space propulsion, and he invented the Microwave Electro-Thermal plasma thruster using water propellant for space propulsion.

With top-secret security clearances on a variety of projects, Brandenburg believes something is odd about those photos of the face on Mars, and he noted that in a presentation.

He worked on the Vortex theory of rocket engine design, the Rocket Plume Regolith Interactions on Mars and the Moon, and the combined Sakharov-Kaluza-Klein theory of Field Unification, for Mars science and the purpose of space propulsion.

The man was also Deputy Manager of the Clementine Mission to the Moon, which was a project jointly run by NASA and the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO). That mission incredibly discovered water at the poles of the Moon in 1994.

He said this:

““Someone complained to me, John, why do you have to bring Cydonia into this? And I said, because I can read a map. . . . Here’s what’s at Cydonia Mensa. There’s the face on Mars, there’s the D & M pyramid. . . . Here it is in a second shot, this was taken July 25th, this was taken 30 days later, the government was apparently doing a follow-up investigation. These two pictures (pictures above to your left) tell you everything you need to know about what’s at Cydonia Mensa (region of Mars). If you see on a planet that used to be Earth-like, a carved human face and a pyramid within 5 km of each other . . . it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what this all means, you can connect the dots. . . . I mean sometimes, and I can tell you as a scientist and I’ve seen other scientists do this, if you’re cornered, you’re just brazing it out, you hold up a picture of a buffalo and insist that it’s a dog.”

So why would they try to hide a face like structure on Mars? What could it even be evidence for?
